Ok so you are getting together a little
pc for some donkey work and its drive is only a few gigs but ou are
thinking I will manage to install XP because they say you require only
1,5 gigs and you have a partition with SIX gigs, so that's plenty of
space, even considering updates, upgrade pack etc..
but nope, after installing XP somehow there's TWO gigs missing from the
equation, in the C drive, hidden from sight as it is a system file,
there's a file called "hiberfil" and it is very big, in my case about 2
Here's how to get rid of it.
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Power Options
go to "Hibernate" then untic the "Enable hibernation" click OK
